Day 1

I would say today was a good day. I worked really hard on my health virtue, and I even went to a workout class before school. I was mostly focused on that virtue, but when a situation came about, I was really working hard on temperance. I had a math test that I needed to make up, but I was so stressed and I felt like I knew nothing, when I was asking for help I broke down and cried. I went to the bathroom and realized that this was nothing to get worked up about, knowing there were so many other problems or things that are ten times worse than what I was going through. After calming down, I got more help and took my test. I did really well on it, and I really think it was because I calmed myself down when I got to a situation that was not good.

  1. I’m glad that your math test went well! I’ve definitely had a fair share of breakdowns over the subject; it’s just something that does that sometimes. However, don’t invalidate yourself over it either. Another person’s suffering doesn’t negate your own, and just because you may be suffering due to something small it doesn’t mean you aren’t suffering.

Regardless, I’m glad this day was a good day for you, and I’m happy that you reached out for help during that test!

  2. I think it is great that you woke up early to work out! That is always a great way to start a day. I have the same problem with stress and making things bigger in my head and that is hard to work on but I am glad that you were able to persevere and that you did well! Remember that it is always good to take a few deep breaths before you go into any test or situation because a clear mind really helps. Keep going! You are doing great!
